(No, Talk Like a Pirate Day isn’t until September 19)

It’s an exciting time for us software geeks. Sure, it’s always a good time to play around with and tweak software that everyone already has or is readily available to the public. However, it’s even better when we get to play around with software that isn’t even out yet—software that will soon change the way [...]

I was reading Frank’s Semester-in-review post and noticed that he mentioned that his blog would soon turn two years old. That got me thinking–how old is my blog?
Unfortunately I’m a couple days late.

Something happened [...]

(Sadly, so have I)

So Cingular over the past year or so has dumped over $4 billion dollars into converting their network from AT&T to Cingular. Now that they’ve done this, they’re going to spend another $2+ billion and convert themselves back into AT&T by the end of 2007.
AT&T says that the new “AT&T Wireless” name will cause less [...]

Ever since I got my first laptop back in 2001 (or so), I’ve been a strong supporter of the “Once you buy your computer, reinstall the OS so you don’t have to deal with any of the pre-installed crap” movement. If you’ve ever bought a Dell (or any other PC from a OEM manufacturer), you’ve [...]
