I just woke up like 5 minutes ago from this really severe and awesome storm outside. The radar looked like this.
I’m not sure what woke me up–either the loud crack of thunder, or the rain pounding against my window, or the sound of my computer rebooting because of a temporary and momentary power loss. (I [...]

Are you a developer? The MSDN Library is now free to download! Just make sure you’ve got plenty of disk space (like 1.5GB free or more..)
Do you use a computer? Yes? Great! WinRAR is an excellent file archiving program that supports TONS of formats. Normally it’s a shareware program (meaning you use it then pay [...]

Sublymonal Messaging

For best results, do not blink.
I was watching some TV earlier and came across another one of those Sprite advertisements. It was the ad where the guy is watering these flowers that sing whenever they are sprayed with this Sprite-plant-watering mixture. I’ve seen only a couple of these ads, and I find the commercials rather [...]

(1) IE users probably won’t see these popups will find these popups in weird places. IE7beta3 users can find the popup [...]

Random Stuff, Like Most of this Blog

I was reading back a few pages and realized that I’ve been leaving a lot of stuff out of the blog lately. Honestly, I’d have to blame it on the lack of my computer working, which led to the fact that I didn’t have my comfy leather chair to blog with. Now that I’ve got [...]

There is a new Arial font pack for the Razr V3, available at motomodders.net/Default.aspx?tabid=55&forumid=12&postid=202748&view=topic
I’ve got it installed on my Razr and it blows the standard and Tahoma font packs out of the water. It looks absolutely amazing. If you’ve got a Razr, this is a must.

Most everyone who has played around with Vista Beta 2 has seen the intense user control system. I ran across this interesting little tidbit earlier today (before I switched back to Windows XP on my laptop). If you’ve got Beta 2, try the following. If you don’t, read along and see if you understand how [...]

Computer Troubleshooting Notes

The computer saga continues…
I got my motherboard back about a week and a half ago. I set everything up and started a stress test. Within 30 minutes the system crashed. So I ignored it. We weren’t on speaking terms.
I then installed Windows Vista Beta 2 and Prime95 (my stress testing program) and began stress testing [...]
