Telenav + Traffic = Sweet

If Jill is driving west on the freeway from Milwaukee to Madison at 68.3 miles per hour, while Bob is driving west on the same freeway going 63.9 miles per hour, takes an exit, drives several miles on backroads and access streets at an average speed of 37.3 miles per hour and eventually gets back on to the freeway to reach a new average speed of 64.7 miles per hour, who will arrive to their destination first?

Pencils down, class. Your time is up. The correct answer is Bob, as he just updated Telenav on his LG Fusic phone and now gets traffic updates every five minutes, allowing him to miss that nasty 7-car pileup that occurred just east of Johnson Creek.

Wow, um. Yeah. Anyway..

It seems as though the power-hungry developers at Sprint and Telenav have finally let loose the update to Telenav for other phones. This new 5.1 version was initially released to just the KRZR, RAZR, and Katana. 5.1 had a sweet traffic check that would “optimize the route” based on the traffic scenario (which is updated every 5 minutes). Now several more phones have been granted this update, including the Fusic. It’s about time…

*Note* however that if you do choose to update your Telenav to v5.1, you must completely delete it (but not cancel your subscription) and redownload the program again. If you just redownload without explicitly deleting it yourself, the update doesn’t complete successfully and you don’t get the traffic goodies.
