Linux is cool now
This is some impressive work. Combine lynx (textual web browser) + custom code to get a YouTube FLV URL + mplayer (media player) and you get this.
Confirmed this on a box at work (note you can’t have X installed). mplayer playing movies with ASCII. That is damn cool!

It’s now been 6 months since I purchased the Palm Treo 750 smartphone. As an upgrade from a Motorola V3i, lots of things were different. Going from a phone to a smartphone is not a small step. The new phone is great, and it has it’s fair share of good things and bad things. First of [...]
IPv4 Dooms Day
Looks like we’re going to run out of IP addresses sooner than later.
Only 19% of all IPv4 addresses are now available.

Time for an IP Revolution!

Pros:
Much better gas mileage

Auxillary Input (perfect for XM, once I set that up)
Sunroof
Fast and zippy
Cons:
Sun visors feel pretty cheap
Very slight whistling sound from wind at speeds higher than 50 mph
Earned some bad nicknames (e.g. “cute,” “little strawberry”)
I’m still getting used [...]

Internet Radio Day of Silence
The Internet Radio Taxing Debacle is still in full swing, and now webcasters and going to do something about it.
On June 26, all webcasters are going to observe a day of silence to protest the royalty increase. All regular programming on thousands of internet radio stations will cease that day, in an attempt to show listeners [...]
