Losing More Decent Radio

Back in the day when I lived in Green Bay, I felt fortunate that Green Bay still had some decent radio. I remember the first night I moved in, I spent time scanning the airwaves finding a station that played good music. I started at 102.1 and went up. I kept going until I reached 94.7 on the dial. Within minutes 94.7 made it to number 1 on my speed dial.

A radio station that played new rock. It was such a new concept to me, since I had been living in Milwaukee and lost the “new rock” genre so long ago.

Unfortunately it seems as though Milwaukee radio’s sour taste of music is drifting northward. A reacher at the Milwaukee Radio Forums found the following image on the Razor 94.7 FM website:

The Bull IS BULL

“New Country and the Legends” ? “The Bull” ? The Bull is bull. They can’t ruin yet another rock station! What’s going on here? Did everyone suddenly decide that Wisconsin is a hick state and we just gotta have our country?

Satellite radio just keeps looking better and better these days..
