The Theory: If a Starburst is still wrapped, people will assume that it’s safe to eat.

The Test: Leave a bunch of Starbursts wrapped on the floor by the passenger seat in my car.

The Results: Only one person did not eat a Starburst, but that was because we were driving to eat somewhere.

Conclusion: The theory stands.
